i am interested in linen towels these days. long lasting, absorbent, and better with age. some are woven in turkey, some in maine, some in lithuania. the size and the price vary. i want to learn how to weave, classes are offered at the guild. thats right a guild.

I have the napkins. I love that people in India use essentially big dish towels as towels. So Indian, somehow, not to have all the fuss of plush.
I bought some linen napkins recently, 6 for $6 used. They are gorgeous with embroidery and would have cost $60 new.
So I guess I too am obsessed with linen but in a consumer sort of way!
